Equipment builders and OEM buyers will find the most productive method to be developing a short application brief prior to picking a series. This guide outlines the process of translating machine requirements into a shortlist, based on Mingye's real product families, and without making the assumption that one type of gearbox will be suitable for any machine application.

Using a descriptive word to identify the data that is being outputted is a very good way to explain the program.

A reduction gearbox is used to reduce the speed and increase the torque available subject to mechanical losses and rating. It does NOT increase the power output. Decide on the required speed and load for the machine first and then decide the necessary input power and transmission arrangement to obtain the required speed and load.

Write the requirement as a function of the driven. A certain belt speed is required for a conveyor, and needs to be converted to a roller speed. The right mixer type, speed and torque are necessary for a process. Based on that machine calculation, the output of the gearbox is determined.

Let Shaft Geometry reduce the Product Family!
